Al Rich Park – Al Rich Park was named after Retired, Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and Vietnam Veteran, Al Rich who served twenty-six (26) years of honorable service. He moved to Cibolo in 1986 to Main Street and became very active in the community.
Al Rich was appointed as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission and served faithfully for over seven years. He also served on the Master Plan Committee, Capital Improvements Advisory Committee, Cibolofest Committee and was a member of the Cibolo Volunteer Fire Department.
On March 22, 2002, he succumbed to cancer. The park is a memorial to honor his contributions to the community of Cibolo and a place where family and friends venerate his memory.
