On February 17, 2021 Mayor Stosh Boyle signed a Declaration of Local Disaster due to a Winter Weather Emergency for the City of Cibolo joining the State of Texas and Guadalupe and Comal Counties in issuing similar declarations.

The severe winter weather poses an imminent threat of widespread and severe property damage, injury, and loss of life due to prolonged freezing temperatures, heavy snow, and freezing rain statewide. Cibolo has already seen bitterly cold temperatures, dangerous road conditions, several inches of snow, and power outages.

Residents may stay updated on weather conditions by checking the City’s website and following the City on Facebook. Follow the Cibolo Police Department on Facebook for updates on current road conditions.
