Infrastructure Services
Infrastructure Services is responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and operation of all streets, alleys, bridges, public way lighting, traffic control signs, and signals. Additionally, this division oversees sewers, underground conduit systems, and the construction of water facilities.

2024 Projects

Bolton Road Reconstruction Project - The project will improve mobility by widening the intersection at Zuehl Rd. and Bolton Rd. and improving the road from Haeckerville Rd to Stolte Rd. 
Phase II of the Bolton Road Reconstruction Project will begin on Monday, March 18, 2024, with an expected substantial completion in late April. Please take note of the following road closures:
-Bolton Rd. will be closed to through traffic from Zuehl Rd. to Stolte Rd. Traffic will be detoured to Lower Seguin Road. 
-Zuehl Rd. will be closed during this phase as crews work on drainage and the widening of the Zuehl Rd. and Bolton Rd. intersection.

Bolton Rd Phase 2
D&D Contractors, Inc. will maintain an all-weather surface during construction and will make every effort to accommodate local residents in and out of their driveways. Thank you for your patience during this construction period. Please avoid parking vehicles on the roadway during the contractor’s business hours, Monday – Saturday, 7 am – 7 pm.

Town Creek Drainage Project/Haeckerville Road Reconstruction Project
05/13/2024:  The final phasing of the project is currently under construction. Substantial project completion is expected by early-June. Crews are currently working on flatwork and drainage easements.

The City has developed a long-range plan to construct a linear trail system that would allow residents to walk, hike, and bike along trails that link neighborhoods with City parks and Old Town (downtown) areas. This project will include approximately 2-miles of ten-foot-wide hike and bike trails extending from north of Schaeffer Road near the City’s Sports Complex, past FM 78, through Old Town (downtown), north to FM 1103, and connecting to the existing trails in Schlater Park.
